Pinetree Financial Partners was founded by Robert Shopneck in 1985 and has been based in Denver, Colorado since its founding. Pinetree is a private real estate secured lender that has the ability to cut red tape and close loans very quickly, in some cases within 24 hours or less. Although the majority of our business is located up and down the front range, we fund deals throughout the entire state of Colorado (we do not lend out of state).
We service our loans from loan application to pay off and we keep all of our loans in our own portfolio, so we can be flexible to meet your needs.

Andy Shopneck– Is a Principal, underwriter and closer for Pinetree, he is also a Colorado native and Regis Jesuit high school alum. Andy graduated from Connecticut College and received his J.D. from the University Of Denver Sturm College Of Law. From 2008-2013 Andy worked as a deputy district attorney for Denver. Andy began to work with Pinetree in 2013 and has brought his problem solving, honesty, and hard work with him.
Chris Shopneck– Is a principal, loan officer and underwriter for Pinetree, he is also a Colorado native and a Denver East and Colorado College alum. In 2008 Chris became a real estate agent and began to work at Pinetree, having started in a recession Chris brings a unique perspective to the challenges and opportunities in a down market and in a booming market that has benefited our borrowers in their various real estate pursuits.
